| MECRail has
some of the most experienced crews and well-trained people in the
industry. At MECRail, our commitment to
exceeding customer expectations is our top priority. The key to
delivering on that commitment is the unsurpassed quality of our
people and the unparalleled extent of their training.
Our installation and maintenance
crews are among the most experienced, well-trained, capable and
motivated in the industry. Many of our key employees have extensive
operating experience on Class I railroads, and they are well-versed
in all applicable FRA and PUC regulations and AAR recommended
practices.
We conduct our own comprehensive
FRA- and AAR-based training programs - consisting of classroom and
field instruction, testing and certification - in all aspects of
signal installation and maintenance. Additionally, we provide
extensive ongoing training and in the latest industry standards,
practices and safety methodologies in order to maintain both
performance and safety ratings that rank among the highest in the
industry.
Our crews understand the
complexity and diversity of the industry's wide range of signaling
and communications equipment. From highway crossings to coded track
circuits to dispatch control centers, we've built a cadre of
expertise in the installation and maintenance of electro-mechanical,
solid-state and microprocessor-based products and technologies.
We have also amassed one of the
most extensive fleets of specialty equipment in the industry. With
considerable investments in cranes, bucket trucks, scissor lifts and
other related equipment - a large portion of which is high-rail
equipped - strategically located throughout the country, we can
quickly and efficiently mobilize to help you increase capacity,
compress schedules or simply fast-track ongoing capital improvement
projects.
MECRail has been created to
provide a wider range of services to all sectors of the rail
transportation industry. From Class I's to short lines and regionals
to commuter and transit agencies, MECRail can help accelerate
installation, enhance maintenance coverage, improve safety and
reliability, and increase cost-effectiveness for all types of
signaling and communications systems.
